Maurice Olupot

Is a social development specialist with a strong background in policy analysis, research, project planning and management, monitoring and evaluation, gender and human rights.

Maurice’s core competencies focus on areas of coordinating community-based development programs in areas of gender, youth and social inclusion sensitive programming, gender-based violence and sexual exploitation, child protection, gender and development, humanitarian emergency, knowledge management as well as promotion and protection of human rights of especially marginalized/vulnerable groups.

Maurice possesses excellent skills in facilitating participatory planning using contemporary methodologies, gender audits and analysis to discern issues for mainstreaming gender and equity and other cross-cutting issues into policies, programmes and plans, project designing, analysis and implementation. Experience and professional development in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania and South Sudan.
