Dorah Caroline Mafabi
Is a social justice advocate with over 15 years of professional experience and substantive expertise in governance and social development, program ideation, development and management, justice, law and order sector wide reforms, civil society strengthening, organizational management and institutional strengthening.
Expertise in rule of law, access to justice, human rights, legal aid application and reforms, sexual and gender-based violence, gender and social inclusion, child early/forced marriage, female genital mutilation, trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, labour and migrant rights, and building civil society networks and coalitions. Experience in grants management, monitoring and evaluation, social policy research and advocacy, policy and strategy development, curriculum development among others.
Dorah has served in different senior level managerial capacities for local and international organizations in East, West and Southern Africa. Experience and professional development in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Italy, Germany, Zambia, United Kingdom, U.S.A, South Africa, and Singapore.
