Dorah Caroline Mafabi
Is a social justice advocate with over 14 years’ professional experience and substantive expertise in people and team management, office and organizational management, policy formulation and compliance, institutional and capacity building, legal and policy reform, civil society strengthening, governance, justice law and order sector wide reforms.
Expertise in rule of law, access to justice, human rights, legal aid application and reforms, sexual and gender-based violence, child early/forced marriage, human trafficking, peace building, transitional justice, building civil society networks and coalitions, providing technical support to Government Ministries, Agencies, and Departments. Experienced in grants management, program ideation, design and development, programme management, monitoring and evaluation, social policy research and advocacy, policy and strategy development, curriculum development among others.
Dorah has served in different senior level managerial capacities for local and international organizations in East and West Africa. Experience and professional development in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, U.S.A, South Africa, and Singapore.
